NoLift Privacy Policy
Version 1.1 — 16 October 2026
In brief: NoLift does not require an account. Settings, your credit balance and alarm history are stored on your device. Optional alarm photos are not uploaded to the operator’s server. However, advertisements, purchases, update checks, time verification and the app catalogue involve internet connections and the processing of technical data by the relevant providers.
1. Controller and contact
The controller of personal data processed by the NoLift operator is Daniel Dobrowolski, trading as ADAKS MEDIA DANIEL DOBROWOLSKI, Mściszów 112B, 59-800 Lubań, Poland, tax identification number PL6152062671. For privacy matters and data rights, contact adaks.media@gmail.com.
This Policy covers the phone app and its Apple Watch companion, to the extent the relevant features are available on each platform. Not all iOS features are available on Android. Apple, Google and other providers may act as separate controllers for their services.
2. Data stored on your device
NoLift stores protection settings, language, appearance, sounds, photo and notification preferences, setup progress, advertising privacy settings, Premium and purchase information, credit balances and accounting history, information needed to enforce limits, and dates for update checks and system review requests. Purchase data may include transaction identifiers or purchase verification tokens. The operator does not provide a NoLift user account or its own server for synchronising this data.
Motion sensor data is used to detect phone movement locally. History may include an event identifier, protection profile, session and alarm times, photo settings, execution status, optional photos and capture information. NoLift’s protection features do not send history or photos to the operator, advertising networks or the watch.
3. Camera, microphone and photo library
If you enable alarm photos and grant permission, NoLift may take photos during an alarm, including while you are not interacting with the app. Camera availability and successful capture depend on the device, permissions and system state. The app does not identify people or create biometric identification templates.
On iOS, the app may request microphone permission to configure the audio session used by the siren and speaker. NoLift does not record, store or transmit microphone audio. NoLift’s own features do not access GPS location, contacts or message contents.
Exporting or automatically saving photos to the system photo library creates separate copies. Deleting a photo or event in NoLift does not remove those copies. They may be synchronised by iCloud Photos, Google Photos or another service, depending on your settings. You are responsible for the lawfulness of your own actions when taking or sharing photos of other people.
4. Apple Watch and notifications
When connected to Apple Watch, the apps use Apple’s mechanisms to exchange protection status, session and profile information, countdowns, sound settings and commands such as disarming. The watch may retain the last known status and notification information. It does not receive alarm photos or audio recordings.
Notifications are generated by the app and the device system; the operator does not run its own alarm notification server. Notifications may appear on the lock screen and be forwarded to other accessories under system and accessory app settings. Range, background availability and delivery depend on the system, connectivity, permissions and Focus modes.
5. Advertising and privacy choices
The free option uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google UMP consent tools. Advertising providers may receive your IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device or advertising identifiers, app and device information, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic data. These support ad delivery, measurement, accounting and fraud prevention. Depending on your choices, providers may personalise ads and carry out advertising profiling.
Legally required consent for advertising and access to information on your device is requested through the privacy form. You may withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Relevant choices are handled under “Ad privacy” and, for system-level tracking, in device settings. If the form fails, contact us for help; this does not restrict your right to withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out beforehand. Refusing consent does not award a credit; the availability and type of advertising depend on the permitted way of providing it. Buying or using the app is not advertising consent.
On iOS, a separate App Tracking Transparency prompt concerns tracking under Apple’s rules. System permission and advertising consent are separate choices. Refusing tracking does not mean that all connections to Google or all technical processing stop. Premium enables protection without watching ads; it does not erase data already processed by providers.
See the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s information about partner apps. Participating advertising providers and purposes are identified in the current privacy form. NoLift does not include a separate user behaviour analytics tool; advertising SDKs and operating systems may nevertheless perform their own measurement and diagnostics.
6. Other internet connections and purchases
- Purchases: Apple App Store or Google Play processes payment and supplies information needed to verify and grant access or credits. The operator does not receive full payment card details. NoLift does not synchronise credit balances through an account of its own.
- Time checks: the app may contact
www.google.comto read server time and protect credit limits against changes to the phone clock. The request contains a random technical parameter, but no protection history or photos. This connection is separate from advertising. - Updates and ratings: the app uses Apple or Google services. Update checks may transmit the app identifier and system region. Rating requests use the system interface.
- Other apps and websites: catalogue requests to
dobrysoftware.cominclude the platform, language and app excluded from the list. Icons may be loaded from provider addresses returned by the catalogue. Opening a link connects you to the relevant website or store operator.
An internet service receiving a connection may obtain the IP address, request time, requested resource and technical headers. The operator’s servers may retain logs necessary to operate and secure services. Correspondence includes your contact address, message and attachments you choose to send. Do not send third-party photos, payment data or other information unnecessary to handle your case.
7. Purposes and legal bases
Where the operator processes personal data, the following GDPR bases apply:
- providing requested features, handling access entitlements and purchases, and contractual matters — performance of a contract or steps before entering into one, Article 6(1)(b);
- advertising and technologies requiring consent, including personalisation — consent, Article 6(1)(a), within the scope of the relevant choice; any required consent to storing or accessing information on your device is addressed separately;
- service security, fraud prevention, limit verification, other enquiries and the establishment or defence of legal claims — the operator’s legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f), in securely operating services and protecting rights;
- accounting, tax and legal complaint-handling obligations — legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c).
System permission for the camera, microphone or notifications is not general consent to other processing. Data available only on your device does not thereby become accessible to the operator. Providers processing data independently describe their own legal bases in their notices.
8. Recipients and transfers outside the EEA
Depending on the feature used, recipients may include Contabo for hosting, Google for email and Google Play services, Apple for App Store services, necessary technical-support and accounting providers, and legally authorised authorities. Only data necessary for the relevant purpose is disclosed. Stores and services selected by the user may act as independent controllers.
Email and store services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Google describes reliance on adequacy decisions, including the EU–US framework within its applicable scope, and standard contractual clauses for transfers covered by them. Apple describes standard contractual clauses for transfers of data from the EEA. This does not mean that the operator has personally entered into every such instrument or that all services operate solely within the EEA. Information on safeguards and how to obtain copies: Google — data transfers, Apple — privacy; for the operator’s processing, use the contact address in this Policy.
AdMob / Google Mobile Ads providers and their purposes are identified in the current UMP privacy form. This concerns NoLift’s ad-supported option and does not mean that the publisher’s other apps contain advertising.
9. Retention and deletion
- Alarm history and photos in NoLift’s private storage have a retention period of up to 14 days from creation of the event. Deletion takes place during subsequent history operations or relevant app activity; if the app is not run, files may physically remain longer. You can delete them earlier. Depending on how quickly an alarm ends and your choices, photos may also be deleted earlier automatically or following your decision.
- Settings, credit balance and purchase confirmation data — for as long as needed to use access and account for credits, until app data is deleted; some information may remain in system or store mechanisms.
- NoLift history on iOS is excluded from system backup. This does not automatically apply to other app data. On Android, the app disables standard backup of its data. Exported photos and copies made by you have separate retention arrangements.
- Correspondence and complaints — until the case is resolved, and then until applicable claim limitation periods or legal retention duties end. Accounting documents — for the legally required period.
- Operator internet-service logs — retention criteria are described under “Retention of operator-held data”. Advertising and store providers retain data under their rules and your choices.
Deleting the app may cause loss of your local credit balance and history. It does not instruct stores, advertising providers, email services or your system photo library to delete data they already hold.
10. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions and exceptions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability where automated processing is based on consent or a contract. You may object to legitimate-interest processing on grounds relating to your particular situation, and to direct marketing at any time. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Statutory conditions and exceptions apply, including for legal duties and claims.
For data actually held by the operator, use the contact address in this Policy. We may request proportionate information needed to verify identity. We provide information on action taken in response to a request without undue delay, generally within one month of receipt. Where necessary, this may be extended by a further two months due to the complexity or number of requests; we explain any extension and its reasons within the initial month.
The operator cannot remotely access or erase data remaining solely on your device. App and system tools let you manage that data; this does not replace rights concerning data held by the operator. You may lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stanisława Moniuszki 1A, 00-014 Warsaw, Poland, uodo.gov.pl, or another competent supervisory authority.
11. Optional data, children and automated decisions
Purchases and optional features are voluntary. Not providing data or permissions necessary for a feature may prevent it from working, for example photos, notifications or rewarded advertising. Providing correspondence data is voluntary but may be necessary to deal with a request. NoLift is not directed at children. Use by a minor must take account of their capacity to contract and, where required, involve a parent or guardian.
The operator does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on users solely by automated means. Automatic movement detection and credit accounting support app functionality. Possible advertising profiling by providers is explained in section 5.
12. Website and changes
The website hosting this document may process connection logs. Its cookies and other technologies require separate information reflecting the actual website configuration. This Policy does not constitute consent to those technologies.
Changes in processing will be reflected in an updated Policy. We will notify you of material changes through the app or another appropriate channel before applying them, and request new consent separately when required. Continued use of NoLift does not replace required consent.

Hosting, contact and technical data
The dobrysoftware.com website, including its legal-document pages, app catalogue and version-check services, uses hosting provided by Contabo GmbH. We process and store technical connection data on this infrastructure, such as IP addresses, request times, requested resources, User-Agent and other technical headers, as well as data voluntarily submitted through the website’s forms. Technical data may be recorded in logs used to operate, diagnose and secure the services. Hosting does not mean that data described as remaining solely on the device is automatically uploaded.
The Contabo hosting server serving dobrysoftware.com is located within the European Union. This Policy describes processing by other providers, including any transfers outside the European Economic Area.
Contact and support: we process your email address, message, voluntary attachments and information necessary to deal with the matter. Email is handled by Google through Gmail; website-form submissions may also be stored on the Contabo server. Do not send passwords, full payment details or unnecessary information about other people.
Legal bases for data actually processed by the operator: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps — providing purchased access and related support; compliance with a legal obligation — required accounting and consumer-rights handling; legitimate interests — service security, diagnostics, other correspondence and establishing, exercising or defending claims. These correspond to Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR. Where a specific optional activity relies on consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies. Correspondence data is voluntary but may be needed to handle your request. Technical data is necessary to handle a connection. A device’s system permission is not general consent to unrelated processing.
Retention of operator-held data
Technical data and server logs are retained for the time necessary to operate services, detect and investigate incidents and diagnose problems. The criteria are the nature and date of an event, the time needed to identify a problem, the risk of repeated abuse and specific legal duties. Further retention of data isolated for a particular incident requires a reason related to investigating it or protecting legal claims.
Correspondence and support requests are retained while the matter is handled and afterwards only as needed to comply with a legal duty or protect claims within the applicable limitation period. Accounting records are subject to statutory retention duties. Store, email-service and system-backup data is also subject to the relevant providers’ rules. Removing the app does not automatically erase correspondence, website submissions or store records.
Language versions
The Polish and English versions are intended to reflect the same rules. A discrepancy in translation does not limit any rights arising under mandatory applicable law.
In the event of a discrepancy in interpretation, the Polish version prevails, subject to mandatory applicable law, including consumer protection.
