Aplikant Terms of Use
Version 1.1 — 16 October 2026
In brief: Aplikant supports preparation for Polish legal entrance examinations. It distinguishes historical answer keys from educational corrections following legal changes. It does not guarantee an exam result; statutory conformity, complaint and remedy rights remain. Access may be annual or lifetime depending on the purchased offer.
1. Operator, contact and scope
Aplikant is provided by ADAKS MEDIA DANIEL DOBROWOLSKI, operated by Daniel Dobrowolski, Mściszów 112B, 59-800 Lubań, Poland, Polish tax ID (NIP) 6152062671 (the “Operator”). For contract support, complaints and error reports, email adaks.media@gmail.com. Postal address: Mściszów 112B, 59-800 Lubań, Poland.
These terms cover Aplikant for iOS and Android. The relevant store’s terms also apply to its role in a purchase. These terms do not exclude the Operator’s obligations to users. You can save or print this document from your browser before purchasing.
2. Purpose of the app and materials
Aplikant is an independent educational tool supporting preparation for Polish entrance examinations for advocate and legal-adviser training. It provides questions, exam sessions, study mode, flashcards, original explanations, source excerpts, saved questions and statistics within the current offer. It is not an examination authority’s service or an authority-approved product unless expressly stated on the basis of actual authorisation.
Materials are educational. They are not individual legal advice or a legal opinion, an official interpretation, or a guarantee of passing an exam. Learning outcomes also depend on your work, the examination scope and applicable law.
3. Question sources, official keys and legal changes
The starting point is published official examination papers and their answer keys. Original explanations, selected quotations and educational annotations are the Operator’s own material. Where a subsequent legal change affects the correct answer, the app may assess an answer against a separately prepared, identified legal state; this does not amend the examining authority’s historical key.
Such an explanation should distinguish the historical rule and answer from the current rule and identify the relevant provision and change. A question’s examination year, a source’s date and the app’s technical update date are not the same as a verification date for every provision.
The Operator prepares and updates its own materials with due care, taking account of the professional nature of its business. Because legislation changes, interpretations may differ and errors can occur, the Operator does not represent that every item is error-free or has been verified as of the date you use it. This does not exclude the obligation to provide content conforming to the contract or statutory user rights. Check current official sources before applying information to an individual matter or when in doubt. You may report an error by email, preferably including the question identifier and the discrepancy.
4. Access, price, subscription and lifetime purchase
- Price, currency, scope, access period and any trial are presented before purchase in the app and store checkout. Binding transaction terms must be available before confirmation; note the amount and taxes in the store confirmation. Do not confirm a transaction if the offers differ.
- Annual access is an automatically renewing subscription with an annual billing period under the confirmed store terms until you disable renewal. A trial is available only under the store’s terms and after eligibility confirmation. The offer identifies the trial length, subsequent price and renewal.
- Lifetime access is a one-time purchase granting access for an indefinite period to the Aplikant features included in the purchased offer, without recurring fees. It is not a subscription. It does not automatically include separate apps or additional products outside that offer. “Lifetime” does not entitle the Operator to arbitrarily revoke purchased access or remove mandatory updates or other consumer rights.
- A lifetime purchase does not cancel an existing annual subscription. If you do not want it to renew, manage it in your store account. Deleting the app does not disable renewal either.
- Access requires valid purchase confirmation. You can use “Restore purchase” with the relevant account and store. An iOS purchase does not automatically grant an Android purchase or vice versa unless expressly offered. Family-sharing availability depends on the store offer, not merely on these terms.
5. Contract formation, operation and requirements
A paid contract is formed under the relevant store’s purchase process and confirmation. Merely downloading the app does not order paid renewal. You must have legal capacity to contract or ensure appropriate participation or consent by a legal representative where required by law. No separate Aplikant account is required. Purchased features are delivered automatically in the app without undue delay after the store confirms the purchase and entitlement verification succeeds. A transaction awaiting approval does not yet grant access. If delivery fails, use purchase restoration or contact the Operator. Confirmation of the contract and required information, including any statements about commencement of supply and loss of withdrawal rights, is provided on a durable medium within the statutory time limit; a changeable webpage alone does not replace that confirmation.
You need a compatible iOS or Android device, the operating-system version identified in the current store listing, and space for the app and local data. Purchase, verification and restoration, the other-app catalogue, updates and external sources may require Internet connectivity and store services. Unlimited offline operation is not promised. Reminders require appropriate system settings and permissions.
Progress and saved sessions are local. Pausing an exam preserves its question set and recorded remaining time; starting a new exam creates a new session. Uninstalling, clearing data, device failure or changing devices may result in loss of local history. Restoring a purchase does not restore progress. This does not exclude liability for non-conformity of the app with the contract.
6. Permitted use and rights in materials
You receive a non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own study within the purchased offer. You must not share purchase rights contrary to store rules, bypass protection to obtain unlawful access, disrupt operation, or bulk-extract and distribute protected original materials without a legal basis. This does not restrict statutory exceptions, lawful use, error reporting or complaints.
Rights in software, graphics, the database and original explanations belong to the Operator or relevant rightsholders only to the extent provided by law. We do not claim exclusive rights in legislation or official documents and materials insofar as they are excluded from protection. The app may use technical restrictions on copying, screenshots and screen recording; effectiveness depends on the device and system. If a screenshot is unavailable, you can describe an error in writing.
7. Complaints and conformity
Send complaints to adaks.media@gmail.com or the Operator’s postal address. Describe the issue, platform and contact method; a transaction number or redacted purchase confirmation may help identify a purchase. No particular form or receipt is a condition for exercising complaint rights.
The Operator is responsible for conformity of digital content or a digital service under applicable law, including required updates. In the event of non-conformity, you may request that it be brought into conformity and, in the circumstances provided by law, a price reduction or termination. Bringing it into conformity must be free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Necessary-update information is provided through an appropriate channel, including the store or app.
We respond to a consumer complaint on a durable medium, such as email, within 14 days of receipt unless a specific mandatory provision provides otherwise. Failure to respond within the applicable period has the consequences provided by law. Store handling of payment or a refund does not remove rights against the Operator.
8. Withdrawal and refunds
For a distance contract, a consumer generally has 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason, starting when the digital-content or digital-service contract is concluded. You may send an unequivocal statement by email or post; store tools are an additional route, not the exclusive condition for exercising the right.
For paid digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, withdrawal rights may be lost only once all statutory conditions are met, including commencement with the consumer’s express prior consent, acknowledgement of information about loss of the right and provision of the required confirmation. Services are subject to the conditions applicable to services, including separate rules on commencement and full performance. Merely opening the app, purchasing or generally accepting terms does not replace the required statements.
Refunds following effective withdrawal are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of the statement, using the same means of payment as for the purchase, unless you expressly agree to another means at no additional cost. We do not impose a “no refunds” rule. Rights concerning non-conformity remain separate from withdrawal.
Model withdrawal form (use is optional; complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract):

- I/We(*) hereby give notice that I/We(*) withdraw from my/our(*) contract of sale of the following goods(*) / supply of the following goods(*) / work involving production of the following goods(*) / provision of the following service(*): ................................

- Name of consumer(s): ................................
- Address of consumer(s): ................................

9. Liability and functional limits
Use and outcomes
The operator exercises due care in preparing and maintaining the app. No additional guarantee is given of uninterrupted or entirely error-free operation, compatibility with every future device, or an outcome dependent on the user, third parties or circumstances outside the operator’s control. Users must follow instructions, independently verify information material to their decisions and use appropriate safeguards and backups. An adverse outcome alone does not establish liability; it is assessed under applicable law, considering the breach, damage and causal link.
Consumers and other protected individuals
These Terms do not exclude statutory conformity duties for digital content or services, required updates, complaint handling, withdrawal, refunds or any other rights that cannot lawfully be restricted. Protection for natural persons entering into certain business-related contracts that are not professional in nature for them applies within its statutory scope. Professional-B2B limitations do not apply to them within that protected scope.
Additional limitations for professional B2B only
Only for a user contracting in connection with a business or profession who is not entitled to consumer protection in the relevant matter, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator’s contractual liability for unintentionally caused damage is excluded. To the same extent, liability is excluded for lost profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, downtime, data loss and restoration costs, and consequences of unauthorised use or use contrary to instructions. Merely supplying company details does not determine whether this provision applies.
No exclusion covers intentionally caused damage, personal injury or liability that cannot lawfully be restricted. It does not exclude refunds legally due to the user or data-protection rights and duties that cannot be limited by contract. The operation of an independent external service does not itself create an additional guarantee of that service, but does not remove the operator’s own duties. A provision conflicting with mandatory law is not binding to that extent.
10. Updates, changes and termination
We correct defects and provide updates necessary for conformity, including security updates. Where law permits other changes to continuously supplied content or services, justified reasons may include legislation affecting the app, necessary adaptation to an operating system or store, or addressing a specific security threat. Such changes involve no additional charge and require legally appropriate information. This does not allow arbitrary removal of purchased features.
Where a change has a significant adverse impact on access or use, we apply the required advance notice, durable-medium information and statutory right to terminate free of charge, generally within 30 days of the change or later notice, subject to statutory exceptions. We do not unilaterally alter one-off supplied content in a manner prohibited by law. Changes to terms do not operate retroactively or remove acquired access or claims.
Disabling annual renewal does not remove the paid period unless there is a legal basis for earlier termination, such as an effective refund. Withdrawal of the app or ending provision requires settlement and respect for user rights under law; a clause alone does not permit unilateral cancellation of lifetime access.
11. Applicable law, disputes and privacy
Polish law applies without depriving consumers of protection under mandatory provisions applicable to their situation. Consumers are not required to sue exclusively in the courts at the Operator’s place of business. Protection for individuals acting in business is preserved to the extent granted by law.
Information on out-of-court dispute resolution is available from Polish municipal or district consumer ombudsmen and the UOKiK website. We communicate acceptance or refusal to participate where legally required; this clause does not impose mandatory arbitration or exclude court proceedings.
Data processing is described in the Aplikant Privacy Policy. An invalid or ineffective clause does not deprive you of protection under applicable law.

Verification of educational materials
The app is an independent tool supporting self-directed study. Its materials, questions, answers and explanations are educational; they are not individual legal advice, an official interpretation, an official examination result or an assurance of a particular outcome. The operator prepares and updates materials with due care, but errors, omissions, update delays and differences in interpretation may occur. Legislation and examination rules may change.
Users must independently verify information before an examination and before using it in a particular matter, using current legislation, competent authorities’ notices and the examination organiser’s official materials. Historical questions and keys must be read in the context of their identified year and legal position; educational updates do not amend an authority’s historical key. We give no additional guarantee that every item is error-free or that a user will pass an examination. This does not remove conformity duties or other rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
Language versions
The Polish and English versions are intended to reflect the same rules. A discrepancy in translation does not limit any rights arising under mandatory applicable law.
In the event of a discrepancy in interpretation, the Polish version prevails, subject to mandatory applicable law, including consumer protection.
